Found this Japanese Racing Dial last year, took many years to track down
Then found a 105.022-69 straight writing which hit all the spots and check boxes without breaking the bank on a 105.012. It's got the patina, early 861 movement, beautiful stepped dial in wonderful condition, made right at the height of the Space Race. Paired it with a Foerstner Komfit band which I highly recommend. It's like a metal nato strap, and perfect vintage feel.
Absolutely no idea what this is worth because it's existence is borderline fairy-tale at this point but it's my grail.
I think it's around £120,000 or such and there's only about 50 of them that exist. Most likely all purchased already at this point by celebrities and oil barons.
N NetanelNever heard of this model. Do you know the reference number?

I'm not sure of the reference numbers sorry - they aren't even listed in the Omega catalogue and as far as I know are offered to only some of the highest spending customers at Omega boutiques.

Canopus Gold Speedy. Insanely expensive - but - just perfect.
Someone on the forum has one. There a thread about a birthday present I think (or maybe anniversary), and there's a picture of it in their collection
