I agree that "log off and never come back" is probably the best advice you could get hahaha

Update: I discovered my watch was a 3313B caliber. Due to the time loss I sent it back to Watchfinder and got the following response. Got to say I’m really happy with the result so far, getting the movement upgraded to a 3313C is a winner.

“Your watch has now been through testing and we have identified that the watch is has come to a complete stop due to the movement becoming dry and will require a full service to update the movement to a 3313C to rectify the issue.

The process of servicing a watch involves fully dismantling the movement into its individual parts. Each part of the movement is cleaned and inspected any parts that are deemed worn or broken are replaced. After each part has been inspected and cleaned or replaced the movement is re-assembled by a fully trained watchmaker. On re-assembly of the movement each part is re-lubricated to the required specifications. The movement is then re-cased and the watch is then tested to ensure that it is performing to the correct standards. On completion of testing to ensure the watch is functioning correctly, the watch is water tested to ensure the case is re-sealed and passes to the depth stated by the manufacturer.”

Had my watch over a week now and I’m really enjoying it, however, it is loosing 11 seconds a day which seems a little excessive.

It’s got a Watchfinder warranty so sending it back to them was my first port of call, or maybe I should just go straight to Omega, but obviously that will cost. I was hoping I could run it for a good few months before getting it serviced.

Any guidance to the best course of action would be appreciated.
Yes, it is expensive, but a piece like that is worth the investment to take it to your local OB. Always better to put your trust, and watch, in the hands of subject matter experts.

100% - which is why I am putting up saving aside yearly in anticipation of services.

I’ve always been a fan of nice watch but still being in my early 30’s, until now, buying a house and loosing money on motorcycles has always come first. I’ve got an automatic Tissot and a G-shock that have served me well for the last 6 years.

My wife kindly decided to buy me a Speedy as a wedding present and I love the thing. It’s a Broad Arrow Co-Axial Chronograph 42mm with 3313 movement, made in 2013, the year we met.

Now I understand form doing my research the 3313 doesn’t seem the most popular/reliable movement, I’m hoping that I’ve got the 3313C movement but I need to check that out.

She has great taste

Feedback regarding Watchfinder. Sent the watch back due to running slow, they have now update the caliber to 3313C and extend the warranty by a further 6 months.

Watch is now running +/- 0 sec after 2 days. I’m a happy man.

Awesome they took care of it for you, it’s an expensive hobby. I went from one omega on my wedding day, to 5 omegas and 1 Tudor.
That was 5.5 years ago

Stay away from us, stick to the motorcycle forums. lol

Best of luck in marriage and watching buying

Great watch! Enjoy it and just have it serviced by the right person and you should be fine.
Oh and the trick to buying more for yourself is by buying a couple for the wife as well
