First omega... beginning of an expensive hobby

First time buying a watch over $100... and probably first time wearing a watch in 10+ years.

I have smaller wrists and always thought watches don’t look good on me. After 3 weeks of quarantine and browsing watches, went from looking at aqua terras to explorers before pulling the trigger on a speed master reduced.

Loving this watch so far and rethinking about possibilities at 36mm. This could be the beginning of a very expensive hobby.

Great watch. When I had one I enjoyed wearing it, especially on a grey nato.

Nice first Omega... as for most of us a Speedmaster...
However, the hobby of ( aviation/spaceflight ) chronograph toolwatches doens't need to be expensive... US $ 500.00 can still buy one about 3 great Russian spaceflight related wristwatches... 3133 Poljot to mention one... of course those were never hyped nor marketed as the Speedmaster has been...

Good looking watches. I’ve only recently started wearing wristwatches after not doing so for almost forty years!

Congrats! My first Omega was an old 70s Geneve automatic. I liked it but after scratching the crystal I sold it and moved to a sapphire early bond.

Very nice, congrats! There are some nice, older Seamasters "midsize" that you may like as well.
