Has everyone been drinking enough bourbon tonight so I can safely talk about pocket watches? Great! I would like to get an early, porcelain dial Hamilton 992b. Super awesome if it has a Canadian dial, or a Montgomery dial. Still researching...

And 2021 might also be a vintage Longines with subseconds and no radium year

I'll join in the fun. A soccer timer would make my year and would hopefully be my only purchase for the entirety of 2021. And it would preferably be a 145.016

And to put at least one Omega on the list, I think the one would be the 25th Anniversary white gold Speedmaster from 1994.

I bought one too many watches in 2020. I’m pretty content for now... famous last words.

In 2021 I think I will be looking to consolidate the collection.

I’m still looking for my “grail”, an unpolished full set 14060 Sub. It’s been a 7 year hunt.

The best thing I have done as a collector was deciding to narrow my focus to Certinas - more precisely the more uncommon variants of the DS line. That has made it possible for me to put down a list of specific watches I am looking for and ignore the rest... I am not averse to pouncing on a target of opportunity should it pop up, but in general I am only looking for early Certina DS divers (more specifically a 5801 113) a later yellow-dialled PH1000M, the uncommon "diver dial" 5601 012 and 5801 112 as well as the decidedly rare amagnetic variants 56/5801 114. I own a couple of the latter and I am still looking for the 4+ remaining dial variants.

Placed my deposit on 06/10/2020 for my 2021 incoming, the 3861 Speedmaster Silver Snoopy Award. If the snoopy stars align, hopefully I'll pick-up on my B'day in April 😁

It's then back to reset mode and saving my pocket money towards either a Sub or a new 3861 Moonwatch Professional although either won't be for a year or two.

In 2021 I would like to acquire for sure a really nice example of PiePan 168.005/168.0065. Now for a second acquisition there are a lot of candidates at the moment 😀

For me a piepan either goldcapped or pure gold in nice condition with arrowhead markers for my missus, she has unfortunately expensive tastes 😜

In the queue for a blue BB58. Most likely will only get it in 2025 😗

Also in queue for a Kurono Grand Akane. That should arrive mid 2021 - really stoked about the red dial
lighter

And also hoping for a smaller version of Torsti Laine's Gelidus 2, in salmon with blued hands. Living in hope!
