Notice more and more military pieces appearing on the forum and testing the waters to see if this thread has legs.

Personally not a lot to offer but will kick of with this U.S. Army piece


What is the closest current Omega model to this? Looks really cool.

I believe that is ref 2179, it was available as civilian edition as well if memory serves

They're nice vintage dive straps, perfect for the summer, the 20 mm fits 19-21 mm lugs, usually found in either black or burgundy


Adjustable length (pull through the buckle) up to 8.75" wrist comfortably, one loose keeper


Heat sealed ends

That color makes me a feel a little bit sic but if you have a surplus of black? i like these..

Sorry only have a couple, there's a khaki/brown 20 mm on eBay & black in 17-19 mm

Decided to wear this on my right hand today, since the chronographs always occupies the left hand and all of my time only watches are neglected. Probably gonna start wearing this more often now 😀

Well gentlemen, this might shock some of you but I think that a Bund goes well with an Omega mesh bracelet 😁
