Friends, I know this is a bit of a lost cause. Lost my precious Omega X-33 Speedmaster watch (original digital version 1) somewhere in Amsterdam's Schipol airport. I will assume its been found and will resurface someplace eventually on a watch resale forum or in a showcase somewhere. I wore it through a couple of wars as a helicopter pilot and am broken up about losing it. It has my squadron insignia and name on the back: "Red Dragons" and "Al Anbar Province 2006-2008". I will pay fair value to get it back. It needs repair and a resale might want to get the engraving replaced - I dont know. I know its a stretch but there aren't that many out there, so just keep it in mind? If you find it, let me know. Reward! Thanks fellas!

More info: Watch was not on a strap. Also the logo on the back is this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VMM-268#/media/File:VMM-268_insignia.jpg with some additional writing, with my name, which will be shared to compare / verify with anyone who thinks they have the watch....

Bad news 🙁.

I'm sure a lot of us will keep an eye out.

Just to give everyone a memory jogger, this is the insignia on the back of the watch.

Although on the actual metal it may look more like this.

There is an AD in the airport that sells Omegas, and there is a watchmaker someone else in the airport that does strap replacements, etc. for them. You might want to try reaching out to the airport management, the AD and the watchmaker.

That's a very sad post #1, we all here will have a close look to any x33 now.
Hope you'll get it back.

OP's a GEN 1, the one in your pic is a GEN 2.
I'm curious how you know (if it is other than the bezel, pusher and crown). From what I gather, swapping the crown, pushers and bezel for matte finished styles was common for the Gen 1.

Just based it on the crown.

I was out there in Anbar in 2006! So sorry to hear about your watch...if anybody knows about these military ones, you will most likely not see it again.
