My first military watch,and I'm very happy with it but little concern I have is the 2098 production number as looking at various info tables some say there were not that many of this model made in 1974?
I know there are a few military experts on here and this thread is probably where most hang out,so can anybody give me a definitive answer?

@immustard, I'll check. As for going on case back. It entered stores as an asset in 74. Has för How many were produced in 74 is another question based on serial number. As for batch numbers, I'll have to check. I am out and about so cant check book, my references until get home.
