·I own a lot of vintage military issued watches. But never got issued one when I did 22 years in the US Navy here is the Seiko 7458 quartz diver I bought at the ships store in 1982 and used it until I retired in 2002. In a sort of way you can say this Seiko served in the US Navy I started out with a citizen automatic diver but it did not last long it could not take the beating but the Seiko did. Still own that Seiko today and wearing it today.

Not quite - mechanical W10's were issued in 1980 and mechanical chronos up to 1982.
