Wow! Wonderful array of JLC Memovoxes! I hope to someday add one to my small collection. My alarm watch from Girard-Perregaux will keep me happy until a JLC arrives. IMG_20170114_181013946.jpg

I bought this one about 4 years ago. The alarm on these are so very cool to hear, but this gets so little wrist time I can't even recall the last time I wore it. I think once I get my gold speedy this one gets sold.

Wow thanks that is by far one of my favorite combinations. If you ever get bored with it (doubt you will) let me know.

Rider I was trying to find a local UK watchmaker who could give mine a service (clean, adjust and oil) but there were no recommendations. If I do send to JLC do you know what the likely cost is likely to be ?

May not qualify as vintage ... but ... a cal 914 from around 2000.

To my knowledge they are unreasonably high especially for the lead times . But since they are in the business of selling products to people with more money than brains, they will most likely stay that way. I was quoted 1,500 to 5k. But luckily I'm not paying for it. The Arrangements we're set up by a friend.

Fantastic piece. I have the same in black. My hands are not in great condition though. I have been trying to find a set of JlC hands but I 't been successful so. As you can easily imagine, I don't want to send my Memovox to JlC just for a new set of hands and they start by charging circa 1000 CHF to overhaul the movement. Then they replace requested parts.

Where should I look for these hands?
