I cannot speak for anyone else's watch, but your post prompted me to reinspect my watch and one can glimpse in the lower photo above at the very edge at the six o'clock position, swiss made T as in T for tritium, the "T" being nearly twice as tall as the "swiss made."
In examining the watch under intense light and magnification, I also saw a very fine thread - too fine to be a human hair and light in color - near where the the seconds hand is fit to the shaft. It must be there in the photo as well, but one cannot see it.
If it weren't for your question Mr. Ross, I could have spent the rest of my life never knowing that the thread is there. Thanks a lot! 😉
Edit: As I had a super bright light source available, I charged up the dial and went to a dark place and sure enough, the seconds and hours hand lume glowed in a barely perceptible manner for about 20 seconds. Not surprising for a 1963 watch with just a tiny bit of lume. 😉
