Many thanks @waking-crickets. I agree that it's one of the less-common dial variations. I see them occasionally, but then again, I am probably primed to notice them.

Very nice! I am also a big of the Memos with arabic numerals. Here is mine:

I cannot speak for anyone else's watch, but your post prompted me to reinspect my watch and one can glimpse in the lower photo above at the very edge at the six o'clock position, swiss made T as in T for tritium, the "T" being nearly twice as tall as the "swiss made."

In examining the watch under intense light and magnification, I also saw a very fine thread - too fine to be a human hair and light in color - near where the the seconds hand is fit to the shaft. It must be there in the photo as well, but one cannot see it.

If it weren't for your question Mr. Ross, I could have spent the rest of my life never knowing that the thread is there. Thanks a lot! 😉

Edit: As I had a super bright light source available, I charged up the dial and went to a dark place and sure enough, the seconds and hours hand lume glowed in a barely perceptible manner for about 20 seconds. Not surprising for a 1963 watch with just a tiny bit of lume. 😉

This is a style I wanted a long time. But I had to wait for this example until its careful owner finally gave up on its tatty strap...

I don't often commission bespoke straps (spirit is willing, but wallet is weak), but this watch deserved it, and since the required taper is 18mm/14mm, I couldn't find a suitable ready-made anyway. But the further wait was worth it.

Ready for your close-up...

Wrist-shot in sunshine...

The edge...

And at last - family portrait with funkier cousin.
