Loving this thread, it's great to get all the models lined up for viewing. I always think I know what I've Got in my sights and threads like this blow my ideas out of the water! As a single Constellation owner, I now feel passionate about buying another and always get turned back to Constellations. I particularly like the older models with the dagger markers, perhaps a bumper. What would you add if you could choose another?

...constellations coming and going. Sometimes polished, but correct dials. Only one stayed.

Awesome!! I tend to think, with all the amazing pics so far, there may be some hold outs?? But I know .... It also takes a while to find one thread in the OF haystack 馃槈

Really amazed at the collection amassed by you all. Keep on posting your vintage Connies please

So I am sat at my desk today, things aren't great for one reason or another, every where I turn there seems to be yet another grenade with my name on it waiting to go off and I look down and see this little beauty staring back at me! until I joined the Omega forum my collecting habits where all Omega but 'less subtle' than they are now, I am glad the forum has rubbed off on me

Ha, I actually swapped my Seiko Panda chrono that I've been wearing for the past 4 weeks for my Constellation this morning and every time I grabbed a look at my watch I was surprised to see it there! Cheered me up all day too .

The only photos of the movement that I took unfortunately did not include the entire (or even the beginning of) the serial number. Oh well. I need my watchmaker to open it with his vise.

But here is the case back.

Edit:
I do have a 7-year-old photo I saved, originally from the seller from whom I bought this. The SN is 16,170,XXX, so that dates it to the 1958-60 range I think, probably OK for a 1961-cased watch?
1-2 years out was not unheard of with Omega, but only an extract may be able to confirm it.
