Today I will mostly be wearing the most accurate Connie there is (well if you ignore the double eagle perpetual which has the same accuracy) and certainly the only one that has the unique movement serial number engraved on the front Then later tonight I will be changing over to another Connie, more traditional (yeah right) weighing in at a meaty 103 grams of 18k gold, hand made with a dial a beautiful as he night sky and one of only around 200 made and very few survivors, which since this photograph was taken has had an even more sparkly NOS dial fitted and is now wearing alligator skin shoe............ my understated

I realize that the Speedmaster receives the most consistent play here on the Forum at present and that's great. I am grateful for the Speedmaster I picked up about six months ago, a watch that had been on the want list for many years. I thought I read here that it wasn't always so that the Speedmaster generated such interest on Omega Fourm and that the Constellation was once the darling. Much as I love classic Speedmasters, the 50s-60s Constellations will always be my favorite Omega models. This is an inspiring thread.
