Does it also have a replacement crystal ?
Space Compax from a single-feedback seller from Istanbul for a not-insane price...if it weren't from a single-feedback seller from Istanbul. Pushers degraded but looks good otherwise. You pays your money, you takes your chances. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-G...122?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a4ce01072Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Is this a correct watch, including the seconds hand? I've seen these with the lume turned brown and others with the lume turned green.
Horribly and copiously relumed, with a sweep seconds that looks like it came off an Omega (incorrect). Avoid.

Dial's original. Movement looks fine. The biggest detractor is the gold filled case, which is by far the least attractive variation to collectors.
If I were looking, I might buy this one for the dial and movement and then wait for a nice steel case with a blown up dial to come along one day... You'd have a really nice Tri Compax and a spare beater for maybe under 4g's... EVERYBODY is on the UG booze cruise right now and that ride is going to go on for a long time. That's just the way bubbles work. People love buying anything that they think they can sell for more money a week from now. It's called a Keynesian Beauty Pageant or Panic buying or more traditionally, a Tulip Bubble. Apropos of, the estate of that kook John DuPont just sold a very rare stamp which he purchased for 900g's around 25 years ago. The hammer price was 10mm++
Is it because a gold case is more common than the steel case or is there something up with this particular? Perhaps it was plated?
It is definitely gold-plated. Probably 30 microns. Gold-plated and gold-filled cases are, as a rule, valued less than solid gold and stainless steel models. This is a reference 42201. If you search "Tri-Compax 42201," you'll find some comparisons such as this wildly overpriced and redialed one, showing some serious wear on the plating. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=221281830720Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Hello, How could this Polerouter have Broad Arrows hands with a microtor movement ? Those early models should have a bumper movement (138SS). This one already reach 655$ on eBay (371269179131) ?!?!! Any thoughts ?
