Seriously? I thought these were still in the mid-3000s to low 5000s. If this is now the going rate, then you're telling me that I'll never own one unless Mrs. @Larry S calls me to clear out his cabinet. *le sigh*

I don't think Larry is going to sell you a Tri in that price range 😉

If you are not stuck to UG but accept other brands, a Tri with nice patina at 5k is not impossible.

PS: I forgot: That one sat there for a few months at $4500.

That's why I've sent a friend request to Mrs. Larry on FB 😁

That one had major case damage, one of the lugs was separating from the case as well as metal missing under the pusher
Interesting, can hardly be seen on the pics. Did you inspect it peronally?
I wonder how can a lug of this case be separating? Which one was it?

However, add $200 and the case is repaired. Still about 5k after service with a dial not too ugly.

I’m not sure $200 will take care of this, anyhow I don’t think I would spend 5k for this kind of condition issue, as I have learned the very hard way, can be difficult to sell later on

Wow! Very well hidden on the pics provided on their site.
Or did I miss the pic? It is not among the 5 pics that I can see on their site.

can be difficult to sell later on
I agree. But if you intend to wear it, it is a "cheap" variant.

EUR 3,900
Is that price what you all would expect given the condition? Would this watch get worn, or sit in a collection?

Looks beautiful but it seems that pictures are touched up, on the first pic there's rust between the 2h index and the counter, on next pictures it suddenly disappears. Still a f... Good watch
You're absolutely right... And that's enough to make me avoid the seller completely!

“...The dial shows a few small dots/marks in the white areas of the dial, but nothing too serious or anything to worry about...”

I read this and wondered what the hell they were talking about. Then I noticed the liberal post-processing spot removal on the “close-up” shots of the dial. Nice watch, but for €27k these marks are indeed something I would worry about.

I called out the dealer, and got the following:

"I’m looking at the photo’s again and it could be that the spots were removed. (Sorry!) At the time we bought this watch we we’re working with a photography intern for product and social media photography. Could very well be something went wrong there. Cause we want to be as hones as possible, show scratches etc. The main ‘header’ photo is the correct representation of this UG "

No idea what it would cost now ... 10 years ago, it cost me $300 to repair some hairline cracks and replace missing enamel (2 digits on the dial) on a rolex trench watch. Lynton dials did the work ...

I'm thinking abour this case/dial with the missing red inner numbers. Does anyone know if all the 1205 Railrouters were swoppable - case/dial/movement etc. Might be easier/cheaper to get some dial meister to add the red numbers. OK it would be slightly Franken but I don't intend to pass it off as "Original*.
