Welcome to India. I hope you enjoy a pleasant and safe stay here. Now temperature is increasing every day. Delhi will face more traffic snarls due up some international solar summit for three to four days. You better avoid traveling to those areas.
Thank you Pun, I had a great time in Delhi. My only regret is that I couldn’t manage to arrange shipping on some amazing furniture I found in a tiny shop there. I took a rickshaw through old Delhi... that was a crazy experience! I’ve just spent several days in Hyderabad and it’s off to Chennai early in the morning!

Got some Tahitian black pearls in Hyderabad to go with my GSOTM.
That looks great indeed. So you wore GSOTM in India with impunity! I hope you didn’t face any issues with your watches or your stay here.

India is a great country if a person is willing to take some inconvenience in his stride due to corruption and political apathy towards underprivileged masses. Things are changing slowly but they need to change radically now.

I just came back from a 3 week trip to India (Rajasthan and Kerala). Here's are displays of watches for sale in an outdoor market. BTW, current exchange is 65 rupees for 1 USD.

HMT was the watch of the household and a de facto standard of gifting a groom on his wedding day .. and then came the quartz watches !
HMT`s watch division is closed now..
