·the speedmaster is a bargain and apart from the colour scheme it is very different to the sub, and if you want the SMP blue go for the regular version the sedna premium is not worth it.

·Instead of adding another automatic diver to the collection I would consider the Speedmaster. I personally like having more variety and versatility in my collection and adding the manual wind chronograph would provide that. If you are more of a dive watch enthusiast then I could understand wanting to add another diver.

·Another vote for the Speedy. Very versatile watch because it pairs so well with all sorts of straps. A black alligator for business, a tan barenia for casual, soccer-team themed NATOs for summer tournaments, shell cordovan if you wish to make your watch an enjoyable sensation for the nose in addition to your eyes, etc... possibilities are endless!
As for considerations on the SMP 300 - would a loud rotor spinning noise bother you? How about occasionally feeling vibrations of the rotor as it spins against your wrist? Both of those are deal-breakers for me from my past experience with the 880x movement range that's used in the current-gen SMP. I find the ceramic ball bearings used on that movement makes the rotor spin very loud, and antithetical to the experience of a luxury watch. Your submariner has a silent rotor action, so something to bear in mind.
