Hi folks. Interested in your opinions: I love all of them, but only want to bring one. Which do you think would make the best traveler?
1. Breitling Chronographe Colt (quartz)
2. Certina DS Eagle
3. Oris Aquis Date, or
4. Speedy, Ref. 3513.53
Thanks in advance!

Depends...

Which watch factory and museum are you taking in while there?

Very cool. We’ll be in Zürich only for a brief stopover, but the trip is to Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary.

Prague - Vienna - Budapest? A great tour.

Of the four watches, I would wear the Oris - simple and versatile.

Have fun!

I would choose the Oris as well. Great all around watch with solid WR.

I guess the top 3 in the box didn't make the cut?

Thanks. I was thinking to just go with the Oris, too. You are correct: Vintage didn’t make the cut (Seamaster 166.010, etc).

@Poppyboy
I was going to say Oris as well but going to go against the majority and cast my vote with
1. Breitling Chronographe Colt (quartz)

Its a Quartz - forgetting to wind it is not a problem
Has a Bezel - so you can set home time - assuming the bezel rotates.
Its a Chrono - timing stuff can be both important and fun.

Backup choice would be Oris as I know that bezel does rotate(for 2nd timezone).

Another vote for Oris.
Although I tend to take a few watches, I generally take my Oris BCPD.

Probably the Oris. Water resistant so I wouldn't fear being caught in a downpour. Not so expensive that it'll ruin my trip if it gets lost or damaged. Easy to read at a glance.

You wore Seikos in Switzerland? Is that kind of like drinking canned American Budweiser in Germany?

Even worse, it's like drinking canned Bud Light.

While the Swiss did ban Seiko from the Neuchatel trials in the late 60s, they are allowed now... I did buy this in Basel however
