You Tuber ? Luxury channel? Listening to THAT person for more than 2 minutes, should tell everybody with a bit of life experience, that this is a uninteresting human , shouting for attention and is the opposite of any form of luxury. No Style. An Idiot. Begging for a few $ donations to him to keep that BS going. Why on Earth would any viewer wasting time in listening to somebody shouting his opinions about something, he has no idea about? That tells more about his viewers .... Go out and buy watches. Visit Watch Fairs. Attend to your own agenda, not " following " 3. Party bluster....

I concur with those that are saying it's time to bring the authorities into this. With the revelation that he has done the same thing before, this establishes a clear pattern on the you tuber's part. He has now conned at least two people out of their watches, and who knows how many others.

Oh well... so there is a pattern. Seems he should've been reported to police, let alone shamed on social media, long ago.

Do you have any sort of written communication/proof stating the parameters of this deal that he is to take this piece on loan with the instruction to return it after he creates his intended video?

These are the 4 watches I sent him (in the above screen shots, you can see him talking about "Pepsi" which is the 3rd one on jubilee bracelet)

I would out him right away and bring the pressure. It cannot be that hard to make a video on Youtube that lasts a few minutes. Especially if this person has a channel with a lot of followers, etc. They would have shot the video well within 5 months of receiving it. I'm glad you shared this because social media and YouTube scam artists are really out of control and people usually have no recourse. Your recourse will end up having to be the fury of the Omega forum community if this guy doesn't send you back the watch, and I would let him know that. He should pay the import fees since he has held the watch for months. I'd report it stolen if you know where he lives, just because you lend someone something doesn't make it theirs. You think the bank would wait to get their money from this clown?

Unfortunately, the Instagram account where the parameters of the deals were discussed was deactivated by Facebook and I lost access to the account. Attached is the first message to him from my new account

In rest of the my communication (shared by @collector1946 above, you can see him implicitly acknowledging that he has to return those watches)

To be honest, not going to give him the views by watching that, but…

Why does the guy in the video screen grab look different to the guy on the Instagram account?

Wait, so he gave the content to Archie Luxury? That guy is still around? WTF? Should we tell "Archie" that the owner of the watch has been asking for it for months?

YouTube scam artists are really out of control

Are there many so-called influencers scamming people out of valuable possessions?
And does this guy publish content where he actively encourages people to send him watches for review?
That might qualify him to be reported to You Tube as their policy explicitly prohibits scams, they list get rich quick promises, miracle cures or cast donation schemes, but they do mention there may be other types of situations.

He showed the said Gruen during a Livestream on Archie's channel. Mentioned he was planning to do a review of it. That video is 8 months old now.

It was a cross promotion between the 2 channels that was posted 8 months ago, and in it this Timeless Watch guy completely corroborates the OPs presentation/timeline of events. For the hell of it, I sent Archie a note linking to this thread and he replied that he’d check it out. Not sure if that’ll do any good, but figured the more eyes on this, the better.

I see more of it on Instagram but I'm sure Youtube is the same. Usually they just go for cash, or some kind of crypto scam. Based on this thread he certainly seems like a scammer. He responded to someone on his latest video calling the OP "unhinged" and said that he was "trying to build up the story of the watch to make it more valuable for him, no good deed goes unpunished". OP could have sent it to any auction house if he wanted to sell it, didn't need to give it to this guy, I've never even seen him before and I've watched a lot of dumb watch related content on YT.

The fact that he was drunk and sloppily handling your watch says enough. Hope you get it back soon.
