·Yep, he can play the victim and demand all the apologies he wants, but he's likely panicked because he now knows that he's exposed. His response is not unexpected, because that's what people like this do, they try to flip the script to be the victim. You can see it in many places...sometimes even here.

·So many times with these people they get caught out with one and the whole charade comes down. Hopefully that is not the case here, I’m not saying it is it’s just many are “ponzi schemes” and people get hurt. I can’t tolerate scammers however perhaps that is not the case here I do think the guy should get off his behind and return the watch to remove all doubt and hopefully both parties end up on the plus.

·I must be missing something here. The watch belongs to the OP. It was sent to the guy to make a film about it. There is no transaction taking place. There is no duty or tax to be paid. So what am I misunderstanding?

·While it changes nothing about how terribly OP has been treated, it has to be said that this was the worst possible choice of YouTubers to deal with... His inflated ego and flair for the dramatic aside, the guy's videos are absolute garbage -- there's no way he would've done the watch any sort of justice. I hope he returns the watch soon.

Truly, that’s nothing you should beat yourself up about.
Good people have no option but to assume others will also be kind.
And when others occasionally prove them incorrect, the good person only becomes better through the experience.
At the end of the day, though it is little consolation emotionally, the rational fact is this is only a “thing” and not the health or happiness of you, or a loved one. Difficult, I know, to focus on that fact - but when you’re able, hopefully the fog lifts.
And, the good news is, I think there are still ample avenues and chance that this all resolved just as it should: the watch, and materials, back in your hands.

·I think it was deeply irresponsible and counterproductive for Greek to take that approach, which should be completely obvious to anyone with an iota or sense or experience in handling such disputes - and if you for a moment feel inclined to disagree outloud, just look at how it’s proven and evidenced by the YouTuber’s completely predictable response.
So yeah, if he or others don’t repeat such a counterproductive mistake, I do think it’s worth stating.
But carry on with your pitchforks and torches, I hope you’re successful!
That could maybe work with reasonable people, but looking at OP `s effort and patience , this monkey will only listen to a more `` direct`` approach.

r/WatchesCirclejerk/ is like the 4chan of the watch world, this place exists for chewing all kind of dramas and nonsense behaviours. If Oisin thinks we are 'animal', clearly his channel was not big enough to deserve a roast on r/WCJ yet 😁
