I never suggested that lawyers shouldn't attempt to resolve the problem amicably, only that it would be ill-advised for any member of this forum to meet with the man, no matter how much they may wish to help.

·I don't know if anyone has seen the "Baller Busters" account on IG. Basically the guy outs scammers on IG. Most of them are selling crypto courses, or real estate courses, etc. Pretending to be rich when they are not and just taking people's money. This is the same, but with property theft. He is also pulling a scam by using his followers and channel to make people think he is trustworthy. Most likely, his "collection" is also stolen, from others or with other people's money. Its really terrible.

It strikes me that @Robert-Jan ’s next Speedy Tuesday event is in Milan in just a few weeks, and that perhaps Fratello would be interested in doing a small online story about this interesting Bogart watch?
If @Robert-Jan (or some other Fratello representative) could find any way at all to accommodate collecting the watch (though certainly no expectation that he can, or must, given the practicalities of it all), then I can’t imagine that a fellow journalist that isn’t stealing the watch could refuse to deliver it to a Fratello representative.
Again, if for any reason it brings comfort to the guy to feel this is being mediated somehow through lawyers, my Milan offices would be happy to host.
I simply see no need for the watch to be mailed, and risk loss in the mail, when there are so many good options for it to be hand delivered at an agreed time and place.
EDIT TO ADD FOR CLARITY: the watch and exchange could btw be facilitated by any number of means of convenience, including my law firm could send a bonded professional currier to the location of the watch for collection with receipt at any time between now and Speedy Tuesday Milan, and then held in escrow at my firm, until later collected with notarized receipt by a Fratello representative

Yep, mob mentality is very toxic. That said, the evidence against TTWC is pretty clear, by multiple sources.
