39.5 version of the latest PO for me, mainly down to wrist size...

Looks like it’s more about forearm size than wrist size..... at least from the way you’re wearing your watch in the pic.

I have been wearing mine on a natos that I cut the extra strap off of for a few weeks straight. Even though I have had it for about 10 years it’s nice to change things up. I’m working on finding a bracelet that doesn’t make me feel like I’m wearing the Michelin Man on my wrist. I’m going to give an Uncle Seiko a try and see if I can bend the hollow end links to fit.

Went down the the Omega Boutique.

Swapped out my old 2500 PO clasp (1580/952 bracelet clasp with dive extension)

For the newer 0117stz001159 clasp.

6 micro adjust positions and the dive extension and it's just a little wider than the old clasp but almost the identical length.

I've read about 3 clasp end link options.

The boutique had 1 of the options in stock so I went with that.

0118stz000015 (wedge shaped end links)

The other two link options

0118st1589 (x2 -- checked. Not in stock)
0118stz004975 (x2 -- checked. Not in stock)

See pics below.

Best PO ever made. The blue absolutely stands out and the titanium makes it so lift and comfy.

Well, my Uncle Seiko US 1171 president he markets for the Seamaster arrived today. , I like it although you have to bend the hollow end links to get them to work. You can see in one picture I need to work on one still. After some trial and error but I’m happy and love the 20mm-16mm feel. I put a omega clasp on mine that I got on eBay. Makes the watch much lighter and wears better for me on my wrist.

The first two photos are of the PO I owned and gave to my son when his daughter was born nearly three years ago. I instantly wanted it back so just last week I purchased another one for myself, now if I can only get him to part with the alligator strap he never uses…yeah right!

My 42mm 8500..
This is the watch I think of when I think of Daniel Craig's Bond. It's the main watch in Skyfall in my mind. I barely remember the AT, but the 232.30.42.21.01.001 is everywhere..

Hello guys, I need an advice, please.

The Planet Ocean (2500) is the first watch that I've loved. I can say that it sparkled my loving for Omega.

But I've never bought one, because when I finally was able to afford one, the 8500 came out, but it was way too thick for my tastes.

Now I own a 300m Steel/Sedna with bracelet, that I love (except for the hands, I don't like them too much).

Now I'm thinking about swapping my Seamaster 300M with a second-wrist Planet Ocean, and I would opt for a LM LE.

I'm not a collector, I like having one watch at a time.

What do you think?

Is it a downgrade? no antimagnetic proprieties, no display case back, old 2500 movement, no micro adjusting clasp, etc.

Oh! and, because of the "picture or it never happened" thing, here it is my 300M 😁

Help me, please, to make my mind.

you don't care about anti magnetic, movement, etc... that's not important....

Important stuff is that you have emotions when you look at your wrist, so buy what you reallly like.

I have the PO LMLE, it is my weekend/travel watch and it is a fantastic watch, i Love looking a the dial, bezel, etc... no saphir caseback, etc... but who cares... ???
