My first PO after 3 generations of SMP, 200m and 2x 300m. Love it, best watch so far.

I have this and absolutely love the whole look...

I have this reference in the 45.5mm size and love it. I need to snag that same strap for my watch; it really makes the dial pop. So in keeping with the theme in this thread, the Planet Ocean is the one I own - an 8500 version in the 45.5mm case.

I almost forgot! Need that wrist shot...

"The" Planet Ocean is the first issue 42mm with the 2500 caliber movement.
Worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royal (although he wears the 45,5mm as pictured)

Hi Everyone! So many great watches and pictures on this thread!! Big thanks to all who have posted and provided eye candy for the rest of us. I wanted to share how I’ve been wearing my PO over the past week or so. I came across this Oris tropic in my strap box, and decided to give it a go. I typically don’t mix products from different manufacturers (in my closed mind Omega stuff stays with Omega stuff; Oris stuff stays with Oris, etc.), but in this instance I’m really glad I put this strap on my PO. I love the juxtaposition between the textured strap and the silky smooth dial. The strap does a lovely job of securing the PO and preventing and distracting movement. The strap also suggests a bit of vintage aesthetic which seems to suit this watch really well. I love this combo, and wanted to share the notion of a PO on a tropic strap. Thanks for checking this out, and thanks again for all who have posted previously.

Mine is the 43.5mm. I got it on the leather/rubber strap but recently got the bracelet for it. It's a great piece.

I'm still partial to my 2500D as the best example of the model.
The one thing I feel looks really dated is the clasp, but the seamless integration to the bracelet is pure design genius.

Some users here love the upgrade to the adjustable clasp. I've tried it, but I'm not fully sold on it. I don't use the adjustability function (don't like how it looks when extended), and it is quite bulky and wider than the bracelet. I can manage a good fitting using full and half links, and I always wear the watch rather loose, so no issues with sudden wrist swelling discomfort.

I found that the best balance of modern looks and integration to the bracelet for me is the previous 1589/585 clasp: short, slim, same width of the bracelet and divers extension included in a reasonably streamlined design. But, no micro-adjustment

That lume is just drop dead gorgeous.

I guess a Liquidmetal lumed bezel is impossible, it's either/or? Haven't heard of glowing metal (except when hot).

Proud new member of the club with this used but pristine cal.8500.
Bracelet not adjusted yet and rubber just received, will be fitted this evening.
In the meantime, i wear it on this mesh...

I really like the contrast of the white and orange!

Creamsicle with Omega OEM Gray and Orange strap. Definitely gives the watch a more casual look.
I love this combo!
