OMG, I just can't believe your bad luck. After all you've been through I would have thought that the Omega dealer would have triple checked your watch to make sure it was perfect in every way. I really do feel for you. If it makes you feel any better my first Omega, a Seamaster Pro from the early 2000s, had a small metal filing appear under the crystal at the 6 o'clock position after a few months. Thankfully it was a quick fix to remove it and it ran perfectly for more than 10 years before it finally needed a service.
