This is the Omega I am dying for them to re-issue in the same way that they did the Mk2 Speedie - which I have and love. For me the patina just puts me off so I'd love the look with crystal clean new parts and modern internals. Either that or I need one that has just taken a service trip to Switzerland and back....

Sorry for you but it will never happen, the name Flightmaster doesn’t belong to Omega anymore 😜

Hi Guys

Well last time I had a 910 flightmaster was 3 homes ago and three states ago.... sold it to a guy in Japan..... got this one for 4x what I sold my other one for....

It has seen a scotch pad.... movement shinny bright and the caseback has a major scratch but other then that . a nice watch....

Good hunting

Bill

Seriously though it’s hard to find a good 910 Flightmaster now. The most common fault seems to be over polished cases.

Just scored mine last month . . .

. . . from the original owner, who bought it at a PX in Thailand when he was in the service during the Vietnam war.

He's the third guy from the left . . .

. . . standing in the front row. Not a pilot at the time; he was in electronics maintenance. He learned to fly while in the Air Force, though, and became a commercial pilot after leaving the service. The Flightmaster was on his wrist while flying until he changed careers in '83, and then sat in a drawer for decades, taken out occasionally for winding. He decided to sell last year so that another person could enjoy it.

At my watchmaker's now for service, and I hope to be wearing it by this coming weekend.

Cordially,

Art
Thanks for sharing, usually those watches have a great history to tell, being used as fine and precise instruments by pilots

For me the sharp edges and full sunburst effect is a must. It just doesn’t look right without it

True that ! It doesn’t have to be perfect - perfect is too hard to wear 😁

keeping the cases on these watches sharp and unmolested is an impossible task. I have owned my fair share, and each has had it's unique marks.

This one is the lone survivor in my collection without any battle scars.
