I already posted some photos on another thread but since this is THE thread. I sent my flightmaster to Omega last July and got it back last week. I spent a couple of years looking for one with sharp lines that I could afford. The worst damage to it was where it looked like someone tried to take the caseback off with a butter knife and there was what I assume to be a watchmaker's mark near one of the lugs. Omega did a great job minimizing the damage. I thought they might replace the caseback but they just refinished it so I got to keep the original. I just started timing it and it appears to be running around +2 seconds so that is nice too. It was at +10 when I sent it off.
I tried to post my Seamaster 166.0090 'Baby flightmaster' here a while back and was politely told to take my things and get out. So I went off for half a year in search of the proper credentials required to join this club... So here I am again, this time with my 145.036 variant B2. I hope you like it Reference: 145.036 Year: 1972 Cal: 911 Movement: Manual Power Reserve: 42h Jewels: 17 Case Diameter: 43x52mm Functions: Chronograph, 60s, 30min, 12h, sub second, dual time: 24h Water Resistance: 120 meters Dial: Black Case Back: Screw-in Body: Stainless Steel Bracelet/Strap: Ref: 1162/172
also I want to know if someone already tried any aftermarket bracelet on this watch? Like the one from uncle straps is only 20mm
Received my Flightmaster 145.013 last week. Has a service dial and hans, but I have also the original dial. Very pleased with the watch!
I have an Uncle strap bracelet to suit the MKll speedie, on mine it fits well enough. you don't notice that it's 20mm as you cant see the ends, it's very comfortable. If it bothers you that much that the ends are a little small, you could make up some spacers, but I'm not gonna bother with spacers.
