Hi Guys

just got a 910 Flightmaster... case was polished in its lift and looks like someone use a scothpad on it at one point of its lift... I think it still has alot of its original case shape and edging... not that you can shave with it but it seems to be a honest worn example with a killer dial.....

I think overall its presents well and not over polished... i love the domed mineral crystal !!

Only sad part is the bracelet is tight ... clasp is not marked 1159 , but has rest of the Omega verbiage ... and is slightly tight! My friend Art sent 3 links to me but the package was lost in transit ! augh.....

I posted in WTB ... looking for a few links for this bracelet ....

Got my flightmaster back from Omega yesterday. It's a transitional version, 145.013 case and 911 movement.

Case, dial and hands were not touched on my advise. Ready for wearing it again 😀

Yep great dial and tbh I think the case is good.
When you said someone used a scothpad on it I feared the worse (although im not sure exactly what that is but I get the gist😀) Also these watches are almost impossible wear for any amount of time without picking up dings and scratches.
One of mine was decimated by a heavy hotel door that sprang back on me as I was waiting for my wife and the metal handle scrapped across the case. After lots of soul searching I decided to stick with my wife.
You got a good one. Flightmaster that is
Enjoy

I tried going to the Post Office last week to run a trace on the package, Bill, but the parking lot was packed. I'll stop by Saturday when it'll be a trifle less busy.

My Flightmaster's back from a trip to see Simon Freese. He's done a great job on it with a new case finish (it came to me with the original radial grain underneath someone's halfhearted attempt to give it a starburst finish) and some light restoration. I've wanted a 911 for years and now I have one I'm finding it hard to take off again! Here with another new arrival in 2018.

Hi and welcome to OF !
Can you please share some more pics of your watche including the caseback (inside and outside) and movement for better understanding ? Thanks !
Where did you buy the watch and what is your opinion about the condition ?
Good luck !

Absolutely. I got it from Kirill (lunaroyster)—these are the pictures from his advertisement of the watch (and are better than any I could take)

Thanks a lot ! Now we have a much better feeling about your watch 👍
I am not a Flighty expert but I think you got a quite nice case there. Dial and handset are not my terrain.
Huge congrats and wear in good health !

Thanks! I think it’s awesome. I think the pushers are replacements. And, it’s not clear it when it might have been serviced. It does seem to have been worn, which I think is great.

What a dial!

Thank You

I is a one owner. Navy F-4 Phantom Pilot stationed at several Naval Air Stations before going to Vietnam. It was just serviced, but left all original. I want to eventually put a new crystal on it and figure out who besides Omega can put a refinish on the case.

I'm expecting mine back from Official Time Watch in Utah within the next week or two and will post pictures ASAP. They said they have a lapping machine to reproduce the original finish. As far as just replacing a crystal, Manhattan Time Service did that for me last year, using the one I sourced myself on eBay.

I decided to sell mine. I am sure I will regret it, but I want a vintage Speedy
