I would love to see more images as well especially from Apollo 7 since their use are documented by two sources with first hand knowledge. Unfortunately the image of Wally exiting the helicopter would put the calendar on the back side of his wrist if it was still present. Clearly it was there when he launched.

I’ve watched all the onboard fotage available from Apollo 7 but the majority of it is pretty poor quality. I remain confident additional images will eventually surface.

Ok. As if it wasn't obvious already; I am obsessed
    2am googling.
Walt Cunningham modelling sunglasses that he was negotiating development of with an Australian company (time ran out).
    S68-35336.jpg

And just creeping in at the bottom of the photo?
@TLIGuy's future Timely calendar . Actually June 1968 - Sunday the second, top row.
    S68-35336 (1).jpg
Photo saved as Ref S68-35336 which is a similar reference to some of the other photos I posted earlier.
When I have time I might just search sequentially as this is not as easy as it should be. I can't work out nasa, gov image gallery for the life of me.
I'm hoping there will be some clear walkout pictures after 68-H-939 that can be blown up.
Maybe this will be the one?

    @Emeister
Great photo of Cunningham, which BTW I don't have in my collection
And again... a picture of the Apollo 7 suitup/walkout... in fact the one here above... and Wally's wrist on the deck of the USS Essex

that is one super-cool photo of Walt with those shades on. Is that the rear end of a Corvette beside his left shoulder?

it sure is... as several NASA astronauts helped a bit to establish the Corvette as America's sports car...

Really great picture of Walt @Emeister. I've called in the image calvary who I don't hit up unless I really need help to see if they can find a better image of Wally and the calendar. I'll keep you posted.

BTW - I see the most recent sale ending today of the 1969 calendars pulled in a nice price of $112.50. I went in at the end but it wasn't enough.

I just watched "From the Earth to the Moon" and it shows Bean, Conrad and Gordon roaring off after confinement in their three identical 'vettes.

Red text. Is that the Sunday dates? That would put the calendar upside down to my mind. Advertising?

Great recap @Emeister. A great find with the Armstrong image. Clearly a calendar present there. It appears a calendar is present on Conrad’s bracelet as well but maybe a different brand. Some calendar types do run the days in red.

Cool. If it was a regular steel one, then believe me I'd have been all over it ! No idea how much the gold filled ones normally sell for but reckon it must have been a good price. Free watch too !

Glad it went to someone here

For the record the set in @TLIGuy post above sold for US$114.50 ;)

    Another picture and crop.
    s69-52980.jpg Red and Blue possibly?
    ap12.jpg

Whilst these aren't the Conrad version it does show (1969) variety in what Timely produced.
I don't think we've seen the Weeks numbered like this before, especially not in red.
I'm excited that these are on their way from Northern England.
Hoping TAC is Tactical Air Command but expect it will be something more terrestrial. Anyone recognise the logo?
Maybe all will be revealed on the back of the box

Just to reassure the under bidder I went beyond 'Ashley' in my snipe for these. They were going to be mine :D

Still one of my favorite threads I've posted here and glad it still gets some interest.

@Emeister that is a great looking set and quite an interesting color combination with the red. Looking at the Conrad image again I think this might be the style with the red days like you just acquired that he might be wearing.

The 1967 set didn't seem to get any interest here when I posted it so I went in at the end for the Full House. Three 67's and a pair of big box 68's.

If anyone is looking to give their JB Champion bracelet that vintage July 1969 look without shelling out the big bucks for the hard to find Timely calendars this set with a BIN price of $12.99 might be a budget friendly option. Once wrapped around the bracelet you would never know the difference and your wallet will feel much better.

Nabbed this one, as my Speedy was produced a few months prior. Why not? ;)

The search will continue for the more "proper" timely calendars... and the jb champion as well, for that matter. This is among my favorite threads on this forum.

Just snagged this one on Ebay. Not July '69 but still good for Apollo 8 - first mission to fly to the moon.
