A well-known seller is important. A face to face deal is recommended.

If you are a digital entity though, how can you go face to face? 馃榾

If you are interested in a watch you must look for those same photos all over the internet. I've already found a lot of assholes.

Ah, I have been searching for a bracelet to fit a womens c-case for a long time for the same reason, a nice score, they look great together!

When I saw the title I assumed you got a Milanese and used it to share a single watch with your gf 馃榾 Nice watches!

Here鈥檚 mine:

By the way as far as I heard from @Gui13250 - the riveted bracelet is French made - they are quite uncommon! (your gf鈥檚 bracelet)

This is another new arrival (bracelet doesn鈥檛 belong to this watch, bought 593 endlinks from Ofrei)

I had this theory that 168.027 should be a 1967+ model, but the 564 cal. movement in this watch dates to 1966

Since it鈥檚 a rare dial it鈥檚 hard to jump to any conclusions - there are 2 other 168.027's with the exact same dial, they are both 1967+ though

I'm hoping it's one of those transitional movement usages

Started hunting for another 1966 168.027 now, I think it could be in one of the thin indices dials similar to the one @noless shared recently, it's a 1966 vintage type dial that was replaced with thicker indice dials later on, however it very rarely appears on 168.027's as well, if an evidently untampered example shows up and it has a 1966 movement too, it would mean there was no clear cuts in terms of years

When you think you鈥檙e smart for shilling your own watch but have no idea what the pricing on a shagged out gold-cap even is.

That armor ring is also pure gore, I felt uneasy just looking at it

Thought I would post this here since these dials aren鈥檛 common but are sought after by some of our c-case devotees.
Up for auction in the States

Forgot to bid on this one, when I visited the auction it was over 5 lots ago, 5 minutes earlier and I could've had it, can't describe how painful it was 馃榿 It was sold super low at $430 - congrats to the buyer, hope he's among us and we see more of it

It has taken me a long time to get this one buttoned up, but I have finally gotten a proper movement into my blue dial, as well as the spiralwinder watch parts display caseback.

I'm glad to finally be able to put this one back into my rotation.

Looks real good too! Mine is currently away at my watchmaker being serviced and once it comes back, I planned on getting that caseback too 馃憤

I found it fit this case but not the case of my day/date WG bezel, so perhaps it depends on case maker?
Just as a heads up.

Not buying this was one of my many mistakes recently, during a very long unlucky events streak - I was pretty overwhelmed at the time after discovering someone entered my home (luckily no watches there) - I was pretty shaken at the time and hesitated to pull the trigger and take a risk and I was too late

It was in Turkey too, and I half blame the seller with ill manners, didn't reply to my messages in time and I sensed that he wasn't really all that interested in a domestic sale

It was an extremely peculiar watch, sadly it was sold before the seller could check the model number - but I suspect they were hiding something

So many confusing things about this watch

1) NOS-grade case
2) Wrong crown
3) No visible armor ring or Omega sign on the crystal
3) 168.008 dial with an unseen baguette diamond configuration

I assumed it was a marriage watch of a melted 168.008 movement/dial meeting a NOS 168.017 case and an aftermarket crystal

In hindsight the price was right even for the worst case scenario, even if it's a complete imagination watch with a modified dial, it was a good one

I hope the dial is original and a similar 168.008 is out there - the only other baguette diamond dial is a restored dial though:

^ The seller clearly advertises this dial as restored and it's in UK

The C-Case I shared was auctioned in UK after it's sale, which confused me further as seller indicated it was sold, the auction house pulled it later on - maybe the UK connection is the biggest hint and it was redialed from the same expert source

However I compared the font to my 168.008 with a plain no minute mark dial, and everything seemed to match, so I was convinced the base dial was original, not sure about the diamonds though

He had to drop the price? Imagine that...

Stumbled onto this photo I took some time ago, it was a happy day, can anyone guess what鈥檚 special about the watch?
