    Hi all
I was thinking to trade my 14755 but I would like to have your advise first...
Basically I love this watch... I own several 300 and everytime I was in love until I decide to move to something else. My devil inside always pushed me to vintage Chrono... So I was proposed a trade recently that I declined. It was a 105012 but not in very good shape.
So now I am tempted for a speedy... So Here is the question, what do you think will be a fair trade between a 14755 and a speedy?
The 14755 has an omega service history, omega leather strap and buckle.
    Thanks for your help...

That depends entirely on the speedy in question.....

That's my question... Which ref? Including band? Which grade (according to speedmaster 101 for exemple)...

If you love the straight-lug Seamaster 300, I don't think a Speedy Pro will appeal quite the same. A straight-lug Speedmaster perhaps, but I'd hold onto your 14755 and save up for a Speedmaster

That will be part of the decision of course, but today I am more into evaluate the potential speedy I could afford with this 14755. I already own several pre-moon in the past, so I am not dedicated to straight lugs. The question is more which speedy would you trade if you had his 14755? Would you accept -69? Only a 105---..? With or without the flat links? Equal condition to this one? Would you accept a more south after like a straight lugs but in in less good condition?
I would be very interested to hear your though...

What is the retail price for your 300? Compare that with the retail prices of Speedmasters and go from there.

Often I find it is this easier to sell what you have and buy what you want than to trade.

I find easier to trade without cash involved. My question was more about what range of speedmaster I could target...based on the condition.
I may have to see and.think more about it I guess

I wouldn't trade that watch for anything less than a Speedmaster of the same age and condition.

I understand that the condition will impact the trade but I am not sure me can compare a 14755 with a Ck...
Yes the dial is original recess radium...

So... I 'd like to clarify just one think. This thread is a real question I am asking to you and myself. I am thinking out loud and I am not saying that I want to trade it. I might consider to trade it but not ready yet. Thanks for all the offers I got, I am really glad to see the interest but right now I am not even able to evaluate any trade offer.
The 14755 is not easy to market and it will takes me sometimes to go ahead ;)
Now I am still open to your very interesting comments and advise!

Trading a 14755-61 for a 2998-61 would be very difficult

The bezel insert is not original and was redone by omega in 2012 ( with receipt).

Yes, it would, so I would hang on to the Seamaster :)

But that's probably just me, as I'm not a follower of the Speedmaster cult.

Nice Seamaster , I think I would keep it if it were mine.
I don't think you will ever know what might be a fair trade Speedmaster model until you actually put it up for a deal.
You would then see what the market dictates from the offers.
