I'm happy with the purchase. Makes removing the bracelet so much easier and saves me from scratching the lugs. I'd recommend.
Thank you!!

Bergeron #6767 with replaceable ends. The other one I can't remember the name, also misplaced the fork end, hope to find one day, anyway I use it to measure lug to lug for strap size. Both of these, serves me well to change/remove straps.

Bergeon 6767F. What seems a bit odd is that the ends are loose. They wiggle around. I dunno if i should put some loctite or teflon tape to secure it.
No, don't secure it with locktite/Teflon tape, it's not supposed to be permanent. I think you just didn't tighten it good (not suppose to wiggle). I suggest you use two pair of plyers, one gripping the body & other one hold the replaceable end & tighten it good.

Hi, I’ve read through the thread. But I am not clear whether you need different tools to change strap and bracelet. If I buy the Bergeon 6767-F then should I also buying and S? Is there a standard tool that can change strap and bracelet?

For engaging the bracelet springbar 6767F has worked fine for me. But if you’re talking about changing the links, unless it uses screws, there’s a special tool for that. Highly recommend you get that tool.

Thank you. Would the 6767-F allows me to change rubber or leather strap also?

Have you read the thread the Syrte linked to above? If not, you should take a look. As noted I use the 6111 and the fine end works for bracelets very well, and the spatula end works very well for straps - you can push both the strap aside and compress the spring bar at the same time, without the sharp end of the smaller fork damaging the strap. I'm talking about leather straps here...

For rubber straps, it will depend on the design of the strap. If the end of the strap at the lug is the same as a leather strap, the spatula end will work fine. if it's a very thick strap end with a small recess in it to access the spring bar, you will have to treat it like a bracelet and use the small fork end of your strap tool.

Cheers, Al

What would you recommend to remove links from bracelet?

Bring it to a watch guy, highly recommended.

it might be safer.
I found me an excellent watch guy just around the corner where I live, he doesn't charge much for sizing ($4-$8) for my Eternamatic & Tudor. He's my go to guy for watch repair etc. Last time I saw him, he gave me a nice loupe for free, really nice guy, thanks David!

For strap changes I use an Omega branded strap change tool that was included in a kit from an Omega NATO strap purchase. I use it for changing my bracelet and all straps. Took a bit of practice, but I can change without scratching lugs and takes less than a minute.

+1 for the Omega strap changing tool. I use this one consistently these days now without any issues.
