And getting it at a non AD is even easier, and you get a start point 25% on the same watches. You forego the omega warranty though, and get the shops instead

I would never buy grey market due to warranty but will always buy from an AD.

Getting discount at an AD is very simple - You ask for it, some are tight and give 10% and some will let you walk away with 25% off.

Fully agree with you, the AD is the way to go. Develop a good relationship with your AD and you can come really close to grey market prices if not the same.
Btw i don't think its sold out. An AD near me has one and ace jewelers (which is an AD) still shows it has some in stock (don't know how many pieces) https://www.acejewelers.com/en/watc...er-300-master-co-axial-spectre-23332412101001

Just cos a website shows it as in stock doesn't mean it is

The particular website from what i know it does (i've contact them a while ago for a similar issue). It marks the watch as "out of stock" if they sold out and you can contact them for future availability.

So buy it and sell it on Ebay for £5500 😀

would never get that risk because don't think the prices are gonna be up there for long and from the other hand i am not sure who's gonna buy an expensive watch on ebay from me if you consider i have zero reputation as an ebay seller 😁😜

I guess the question is, why are most buying? Bond? Omega? A combo? If Bond, I can see a burst of turnover shortly. If Omega, maybe not as much.

Ceramic or non ceramic? I have a 5512 but also got a 14060 for durability and fun. I didn't quite commit to the newer 114060 although it's beautiful, I like the aluminium bezel and thinner profile.

Yea the 114060 I picked up the date version initially but hated the cyclops?! Weirdly I don't mind it on the GMT master two as there's more 'going on' there than the classic sub.
Sorry going off topic

I myself ended up flipping some of my Omega watches for rRolex. I did keep a couple though, the blue AT and the LMLE PO. the one Omega no Rolex competes with is the Speedy, but I'll wait until a vintage one sings to me

Great watches all ... I have a Sub Date (my only Rolex) and three Omegas, as well as a few other vintage and/or inexpensive quartz pieces, but you'll have a terrific set. Photos, please, when you get the Sub!

You ask me I'll take anything over a Bond LE... The fact that you're looking into a sub and a mil gauss os Just icing....look into the new speed kings too though.
