Yep will do as long as Mbob doesn't mind the thread hijack lol?? Atm I'm def selling the Spectre 300 (on sales thread and will be on Ebay Saturday) to replace with the sub nd and will decide from there whether to stick with two omega and one rolex or go all rolex. Only problem is I saw the milgauss and it kind of underwhelmed me a bit compared to the AT? Then again I find I need to really spend some quality time with a watch before I truly know

I love my AT and I think I like it better than the Milgauss. I just don't like theme watches.( Bond, etc)

I don't either, but the LE is pretty understated.

A matter of opinion...but mine does not carry any more weight than yours.

The important thing is that we all get to enjoy what we like.

Fair enough.

To come back to the op's question: here in Luxembourg I saw 3 of them in the shop I recently bought my Dsotm.

Best regards.

There is still one available in good old europe. I wonder if it is really a good buy?

I would just buy it to sell it later (years?) to make some profit for other projects. Still not sure....

So good buy or good-bye?

What would a great yield be on a watch investment? Surely you could make more in the market during the same period with less of a gamble.

Buying (new) watches with a view to making a profit is generally a bad idea IMO

Is that also correct for my Snoopy? Shi...t

Sorry, but as I said. I lost profit over the years to increase my budget for Vintages that are overpriced too these days.

So, the first Snoopy was 2k, now 5-6k. Last Snoopy 5-6k, now far beyond 10k.
The Panda dial Apollo was 2k, now 4-5k.

Am I so wrong?

Looking at those figures alone no, it does not seem like you're wrong. As for the Spectre meeting Speedmaster status I don't see it happening. Soon there will be another Bond, and Bond watch LE etc etc as for this one being THE LE that is actually worn by the character I would argue if you get an AT blue skyfall, or a Master C, or a digital Seiko, or a Rolex 5513, or a 1680 or an smpc 300 with blue wave dial. Or a PO 2500 XL, or an 8500 42m and so on and so forth you will be wearing the watch the character is wearing without the 007 gimmicks. And no, I doubt very much the "character" would be wearing a watch with 007 printed anywhere in it. Not very secret agent.

I think there may be a shortage because they keep blowing up. It's a good business strategy. You create the market, destroy the market, save the world and get the girl.
