A buddy of mine who works in a high-end jewelry store says Omega told them to pull the store display, because the watch was sold out. Really? All gone?

You can still get them in the AD in Kuwait, (I know that it is in the middle of nowhere) I doubt they are all sold maybe all of them are distributed but not necessarily sold.

I've seen a couple of listings on grey market sites that show them going for well above the original MSRP ...

Movie was good but not great.

Prefer the diver bezel versus "gmt" bezel.

You can buy the NATO for under $200 at the OB.

    Price premium is substantial.

Conclusion: I'd stick with the regular version.

But to put things in perspective, that's equivalent to 0.6% of Swatch's 2014 gross sales revenue (at today's exchange rate)

I doubt they're actually sold out. There are plenty on chrono24, almost all below MSRP. Wait six months and they'll be plenty of them around. Look at the prices of "older" Bond watches. Do any of them actually hold their value?
