Yes - but I also just got a new email saying that it is possible to bid online now - so everything is fine ;-)

Yes, no problem for online bidding...
Bid a couple of times on the Ultraman, but did not want to follow that high given the open questions.

I caught the last 12 items or so... seems like a lack of energy overall to end of this auction, yes? Exception being Lot 47 (the chicken scrawl Buzz 105.012) sure went high as William predicted it would.

Decent prices, but certainly not crazy, with may be exceptions for a couple of watches in stellar condition or the Alaska one.
Overall economic environment is certainly not for the faint of heart....

Sotheby’s has to be disappointed as the sale overall fell short of expectations. Might be a harbinger of where the global economy is headed.

Well they might sell the remainder of the hard copie catalogs as I know a few guys who're still looking for a catalog... myself included

I thought lot 44 went for a good price. I can't play with the big boys but the -69 with a very nice dial and bezel was similar to the one I'm wearing today:thumbsup:

I realize the significance of this date but silly to have this auction on a NYC summer Friday at 2pm.
It’s the hottest weekend in years and many North Americans are heading out somewhere else.
The roads around here were jammed today.
