What about 38? What looks like a brown 105002?

But the scratch remains. After all the talk about the hands (you just had questions; others seemed sure) I began questioning all my observations. Given the importance of the dial, that seems the most serious issue.

Reading this thread I’ve learned so much. It reminds me of people who grade classic cars in meters. You know, the value is based on if the car looks perfect from a set distance, say 20m. That costs a lot less than the car that looks perfect from 10m. And so on. Glad I’m not a perfectionist or I’d be bankrupted.

If I correct the bezel color, which is likely not that blue

This is a rough idea of what I get

    Who knows.

But they did point out that that decimal bezel was not blue, in that other lot, despite their photo. I’m hoping that that color shift would explain the strange lume color in the hands on the original photo.

Results look extremely poor to me....Perhaps it was just a weak offering, so the real buyers didn’t make an effort to show up?

i really think if you look at it. . the "special" watches did special prices, the good watches did ok. ..kind of to be expected in this market and no doubt the friday summer sale timing hurt the lots that weren't special vis a vis a phillips sale, say
