Only to see them trading for $1k below MSRP ~9mos after release... Pretty sure there are a number still available new in system too...They really overreacted to the Snoopy situation, but fortunately seemed to learn from it and try something else (like with the Speedy Tuesday)

Yeah. Fortunately, when I felt the CK-2998 LE wore too small on my wide wrist I traded it for a freshly serviced 2001 two-tone blue Submariner that was worth around $7K, which I later sold for $5K and a serviced Speedmaster Date plus a few other odds and ends to equal $7K. So I still came out ok with another watch and most of my money back.

That sounds like a complicated transaction!
