Just a Seamaster 2849 with a VERY uncommon bracelet in it, needs some work but definitely worth restoring

The same seller has a few goodies listed worth perusing. Seller is Canada-based so may not be favourable for the American folk.

It appears to be no-lume variant, which is a cleaner look in my opinion. Plus no worries about radium if that is something you care about. It is a very cool watch with the original black dial and bracelet. Nice find!

We do benefit too from commissions, a portion of the funding for the site comes from it so it does help us when people purchase an item after clicking our links, we lose a lot of that to sniping apps and aggregators as whoever the last click was gets attribution but we try to comb through the flotsam for the best stuff on a regular basis.

I’m actually thinking of doing some videos or short steams of me going through a few hundred items on eBay assessing them one by one, showing what I look for and what I skip etc, not sure if that would get much interest but it could be fun

What are aggregators? I noticed a watch you have as recommended is with a reseller who has an insane amount of vintage Omegas listed and thousands of other non watch items, maybe they are aggregating listings somehow.

This one goes off tomorrow, won’t be cheap but a lot of value in that listing

I looked at the seller's feedback, specifically the negative ones, yikes! I sent him a msg asking if he has in his possession all his listed watches because there are so many of them that it seems odd to me that he would.

Solid gold Seamaster De Ville Cal 552 with gold buckle going no reserve later today, probably 14K not 18K as the seller claims but still good
