I just messaged the seller and asked for better pics. I raised your concerns and asked to have clear dial and case images.
Cheers!
Seller provided updated photos. Top of lugs looked re-brushed with an incorrect brushing, should be going in direction of up/down (12 to 6 direction) from others I've seen. Also the dial looks to have some damage along with missing "T - S" at the beginning of what should be the "T -SWISS - T". Pretty steep asking price all things considered.

Also, forgive the post here if this all should be moved to it's own thread, but wanted to pass along some observations as I've been on the look out for one of these for some time.

This one would definitely be the better of the 145.022-69 SW examples currently going, 2 days left and at $4,200

I’m interested where this ends. I caught it when it was first listed and it had a $5500 buy it now option. Couldn’t quite figure out how great a deal that might have been. If I lived in the US and didn’t need to figure out shipping and import costs I’d have probably done it.

Decent wearable Constellation monocoque in steel, replacement hands from a recent service but not a big deal given the rest is quite nice

I wrote about these here: https://stories.omegaforums.net/constellation-monocoque-piepan/

As a newbie, i have not seen sellers provide the original gear with the product. So Omega just overhauls the piece without input from the client? Looks like it’s a service crown as well and bits of the movement. Would it have been smarter to take this to an independent watchmaker instead of doing this to your watch?

I was the underbidder with a late bid. Did anyone here win the auction?

At $5140 that’s imo a pretty nice buy, a grand under a new one for something far more special. Also a few hundred under the initial BIN price

I’m slightly surprised it was this low, but speedy prices are pretty depressed and that nagging doubt was what put me off buying at the full BIN. Think someone got a great deal here.

It’s a relief to know multiple members feel like it was a solid deal. Was hard bidding that amount on a watch. But I feel super blessed to win and call it mine

You did well. A great watch at a good price, congrats!
