That should be a finer serrated side like this:

Ok, now that I have comparison photos, I can clearly see the difference. Thanks Dennis. Time for new glasses.

Edit: Correct crown ordered from Ofrei.

Just search "sparkle" here and you'll get plenty of images from Steve, Kyle, Tommy, Mike, etc.

Thanks Dennis. BTW, I closed the deal with seller. Should be a nice addition. Wearable for sure. Photos will be posted upon receipt.

You'll like that watch. It holds up well against modern watches in the looks department and wears very comfortably. Many of us long timers own them. Some own multiple versions.

Damn right! 馃榿 You're on the list of people who owe pictures.

I'll get it done in due time.馃榿 Did I forget photos in the past? If I did, I claim unintentional "senior moment". Put my a** to the fire, if you can tell me the ones I missed, I get right on it....馃檮

The seller couldn't be bothered to show an image of the engraved case back? Sheesh.

Yes he should have but it looks like a presentation watch with the logo on the dial so the engraving was probably nicely done.

EDIT: Just looked through the seller's feedback and seen that he won the auction. Ignore.

Wonder why he's selling it?

The UK guy who was selling it to begin with is good. I bought my black dial Seamaster from him. It is strange the new seller is selling, looks quite a nice piece!?

Very nice 105.012 the only defect are the scratches on the back plate, I've never understood what kind of "watchmaker" leave that.
