stop calling me out!

No, I'm saying that I'm gonna use it too! 馃ぉ

Freakin' genius you are. 馃憤

If you get a small package with a bunch of nickles in it, you'll know it's from me paying my royalties.

Asking price of the few about at the moment seems to be $5000 or more. It's nice but not quite in the top bracket my wish list.

Your buddy might want to know that there are 5 for sale in Europe on Chrono24 and they're all asking less than he is. The eBay guy in hawaii is asking slightly less than any of them.

Ref 145.022-69 with the commemorative caseback and 1039 bracelet, later bezel but the dial and hands look very nice. Looks to be a genuine one owner watch so with a crystal and service it'd make a great piece for someone wanting one of the '69 Apollo 11 caseback models.

I got a nice practically NOS Tissot Seastar from Don. What you see is what you get, I'd buy from him no worries.

A clean 105.012-65 with no bids and just over a day to go. Shame that the bezel is a post 1996 version & not the original.

Taking that into account it's probably priced correctly at the starting price - which may be why there are no bidders yet. Might be worth a go at this price if anyone fancies hunting down the right bezel later.

The second hand looks weird, so do the sub dials, wrong bezel, wrong bracelet. There are just better examples.

The second hand lume looks like it is fill in with something white. The sub dial hands on the top where it sits on the post is weird.

I see what you mean on the recess on the sweep hand, but not sure about the issue on the sub dial posts. There was a discussion of that on another thread fairly recently.

All of the hands have been repainted, but not had the old paint removed, just "painted over" . Even the lume on the chrono seconds. They may be original, but the job was poorly executed. These are not as easy to paint as it might appear. I could over look the problems for a really good price. Price here is so-so with the issues.
