This is quite nice indeed, Calibre 552 Seamaster with one of the unique vertical deep brushed texture dials

https://www.ebay.com/itm/185859795612

Looks super clean but I noticed this. Weird. One spot, looks a bit like rust but also looks like heat discoloration around it. Just pointing it out, not looking to derail.

Apologies for the interuption of the thread. I have been looking for a similair thread focused on vintage non-omega watch listings, does such a thread exist to the knowledge of anybody here? I cannot find it.

This one will pass in without a bid at $2100 as its not worth that, but its still worth a decent amount being a nice condition roulette bezel Seamaster chronostop, its worth making an offer below the asking or potentially waiting for it to pass in then hitting him up.

Here's maybe a good deal on a better-than-good watch as per @dsio story:

(I'd probably buy this if I didn't already have one from the same reliable seller...)

Just FYI this thread is not for inquires like this. Best practice is to start a new thread on it. I posted this same watch in the eBay horrors thread. It’s an atrocious redial. Run away!

C-cases are awesome and I’ve recently started learning about them myself. You should be between $600-$1000 for most C-cases. And for $1000 it should be a really nice example. Check out this thread to start learning what to look for.

Im watching one on ebay right now i found on the forums i really like them and how they look. Thanks for that link
Definitely start a thread and ask before buying so you don’t get burned. Also FYI, most of the C-cases are in Japan so you’ll see a lot of Japanese sellers on eBay and may want to start looking at Japanese sites like Yahoo.

Edit: Also, a lot of the Japanese eBay sellers are all just re-listing the same items at higher prices. Then they just buy the watch from the dealer and flip it to you at a markup. Don’t fall for that. Find the original seller if your interested.

this seller has other watches, dynamics in particular, that are more in line with chronos24 pricing.
