Yeah I've been living and breathing this watch for the last week, so much that I bid very illogically, but still it's a happy price and a nice addition to my collection

Only 3 more 168.027's left to buy 😀

Happy that you got it! It's going to look so good in person.
Please send photos when you receive them!

Same watch.
Is this one of those cases whereby a Japanese seller is listing something they don’t yet have?

I’ll bet ‘Mynt auctions’ wouldn’t be too pleased to see the eBay listing.
This was their response to me

Hello,

Thank you for sharing this with us. MYNT Auctions, like most auction houses, is supplied with inventory from consignors around the world.

While we are not partnered with the consignor running that eBay account, it is possible that one of our vendors lists inventory through them as well as through MYNT Auctions.

MYNT utilizes Virtual Consignment™ for many items listed in our auctions. By offering our consignors this flexibility, MYNT provides our bidders unparalleled access to unique inventory at better pricing when compared to your typical auction house and/or other consignment partnerships.

Consequently, our consignors’ businesses will run as usual without any interruption and, in many instances, their items will be listed on multiple selling channels; so it's not uncommon for these items to also be listed on eBay, or other selling platforms.

We believe that by bringing the second-hand market to the masses in this unique format, we are contributing to furthering our mission of sustainability for all.

This selling strategy seems quite questionable…

I'm glad I didn't start bidding higher but I don't know what I'm doing just yet.

Congrats. Hope to see some pics once you have it in-hand. I saw the notification pop-up on my phone when there were 15 minutes left and was surprised it was still below $500. I was going to toss in a bid or two, but my son distracted me.

Glad it went to you and also glad I didn’t drive up the price any further for you 😁

This is an unusual US case but its kind of cool, 35mm and with a large bezel, made by Ross in 10K GF, some of these are marked as Seamasters, others are marked as nothing, the dial furniture on this one is particularly attractive. Don’t overpay as its only gold filled and a US case but there’s some cool factor with this one.

I ended up getting outbid, but I am brand new to this forum and wanted to shout everyone out for the work of spotting these. This is much better than me blindly poking around the internet 😀.

It's been relisted if you want to take another crack at it. Apparently the winner didn't pay. Listing currently has the option to make an offer as well.

This one needs a nice thin, black, peeled lizard strap.

I'm interested in this one -- what do you expect I'd pay to get it into nice, wearable condition?
500-650 or so + service + strap, if you go to a good independent the service should be fairly reasonable on these, they tend to be in good nick and not require a lot.

Thanks so much for the info! Definitely worth keeping an eye on it.

A new crystal will do that watch wonders. From a few different angles it looks like there's significant damage to the dial (scratches to the writing or minute markers) but there are enough photos that you can tell most if not all of those are just scratches to the crystal

This is quite nicely kept, 18K solid gold Constellation C-Case Calibre 751 with coin edge bezel and textured dial

at the risk of transgressing once again - this is a rather nice 168.010 up for auction in Quebec.
Late version with pencil hands and the somewhat uncommon onyx inserts and lumed dial.
Has had a life but still has a very commendable case.
Can't tell if the crown is original as it's pulled out slightly (but it does have the contemporaneous Omega symbol)

For the record, @efauser, I don't think the $10-$50 estimate will secure it......
