This might give me pause from the description:
Some parts for setting up date automatically are broken, so the date can only be set manually, namely turning the hour hand 24 hours to advance to change one day

Is that common? Does it foreshadow future problems with the movement? Or could it be something easily fixed as part of a standard service?

What he’s describing sounds like the date change is working correctly (changes when the hands rotate 24 hours) but that quickset isn’t working. Now a broken quickset mechanism would be fixed in a standard service, however this is a Calibre 565, and the owner likely doesn’t have either a manual, or a clue how the quickset works on a Calibre 565. Rather than having a second setting position to click over the date, the Calibre 564 and 565 has a different mechanism where pumping the crown in and out in a certain way operates it, which is unintuitive and for my shrek fingers annoying, and is often described as “not working” due to lack of knowledge or dexterity.

The buckle is a nice included item too, would be better if 18k too but it’s nice not to need to find one separately

Those bracelets alone tend to go for around €180 at least!

I bid $255 and got beat at the last second. Ah well, I wasn't sure how high I wanted to go.
