I'm still undecided, but getting closer, on the direction to take. Right now, I am certain to stay with vintage Omega. It's been a lot of fun being all over the map, but I can now see a couple pieces that may be flipped, as I dial down to a more selective segment of the Omega brand.

Folks remember this thread is for the posting of highly recommended eBay watches. Not questions about problem watches or purchase decisions. I have had to move several inquires to their own separate thread lately.

Crosshair dial too. It's not a happy watch though - it's "S MAD".

That area is deteriorating badly, some minute markers are faded too much.

Points about the dial are well taken but how many cases this nice are you likely to see? The dial issues are among the less obtrusive ones.

IMO it went high! I thought it would fall somewhere between $500-600.

I was hoping to snag it for less than 400, it was sitting it under 200 for almost the whole auction!

Not me. I was outbid.:( It went higher than what I expected. The hunt for a black dial goes on.

Not me, I thought I was going to pick it up at about $450 but someone's late bid was way higher than mine. I'm kinda disappointed as I liked the dial a lot, oh well the search starts all over again....

There would be more if "somebody" decided to reduce his holdings....

Had put in a high bid just so I could snag it. I did not think it would go that high. I am actually glad I did not win this.

I had feeling y'all drove the price of this one up ;) I had my eye on it, but wasn't prepared to go over 550.
