Nobody shown among the clues is directly involved in the answer. Name two locations, an artifact, and an event.

California poppy????

London Bridge relocated from London to Arizona and re-opened on October 10th 1971

That's the best I can do with help from the inter webs.

@JimInOz ,

Full marks on the answer. I mistakenly included the California poppy because I though Havasu City was in California. It is, in fact, in Arizona. And October 10 is the anniversary of its opening in Havasu City.

There was an apocryphal story circulating that the owner thought he had purchased Tower Bridge.
However, I can't imagine anybody thinking that this would fit into the Arizona landscape.

This should be easy.

This gives you the name, I want the model number.

R-4360

Well done @JimInOz for a creative ‘Pratt’ clue.

I’d have used a politician of some description.

Well done.

It is indeed the Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major, one of the largest and most powerful aero piston engines ever produced.

If your clue had been "A sporting event… for lunatics........with balls the size of watermelons...."

I probably would have got it sooner.

😁

"........with balls the size of watermelons...."

It looks like they’ve reflected that in the TT trophy…
