Leonardo Da Vinci, the Mona Lisa

Thread:

Leonardo DI Caprio = Leonardo
Ducktail hairdo = Da (?)
Vin Diesel = Vinci
Tai Chi = Tai Chi
Minus tie = Chi
Mower = Mo
No way = Na
Lisa Kudrow = Lisa

Ergo- Leonardo DaVinci Mona Lisa

Credit due to our son who supplied the names of Vin Diesel and Lisa Kudrow. For trivia, he has a mind like a steel trap! For anything really important? Not so much!

Full points if you can state the common Australian name - now that's got to be a clue.

This one, I hope, might stump you, but if not, put you knee deep into the weeds. 👎

Reynella something?

Can't figure out the last two clues though.

Same here - ‘knee deep into the weeds’

Some of the letters have been crossed out on the album cover, so maybe something ending ‘ina’?
Salina?
Shorina?

I get the feeling we’re looking for flora/fauna native to Australia. Might be wrong 😕

Surfinia? (petunia)

That would put it in the flora category, but other than that I think I’m stumped 😕

I was going to leave it to our Northern Hemisphere solvers, but they're all asleep so here you go.

Rhine
Elle
Aaaah

Thus: Rhinella

and

Sea (Latin mare)
In-A from the record cover

Marina.

So Rhinella Marina, the Giant Cane Toad, an extremely invasive pest causing huge damage to the Australian environment.

Don’t lick it, or touch your eyes after handling. Nasty buggers!

This is one individual from the northern hemisphere who never ever would have got that one! Six months of the year we curse our environment. But the advantage in our cold climate is that all manner of critters like cane toads etc. couldn’t survive here.

Well done, fellas! Something of a joint effort for sure, but have to give the prize to @JimInOz for the full solve and the photo - that photo!

In retaliation for the cane toad rebus. One clue is an overt reference to the subject of the rebus.
