Question about omega logo on hesalite

Does omega always deliver a watch with the logo properly orientated? Meaning the feet of the Ω parallel to 6 o'clock? Reason why I'm asking is because I'm looking at several potential purchases and one of them is a 2006 speedy wich the logo is turned towards 2 o'clock.
Normal or its a sign the watch was worked on and the watchmaker just didn't pay attention to this detail? Just want to know in case the seller tells me it has never been opened.

There was a recent thread where our resident watchmaker @Archer said that Omega doesn't try to align the logo in any particular way.

Imo, they should. It would show their attention to detail is important. I mean, Rolex has the crown etched into the glass at the 6 o'clock position.

The usual wonky screwdown caseback bothers me more. It's difficult to have a well aligned caseback because of the threading, but it still often bothers me. One reason they went to NAIAD locking systems on some watches......it's always properly aligned.

So we’re concerned with crystal logos and case backs that aren’t perfectly aligned, but we’re fine with patina a/k/a dial damage? Okay ....

Two things I can’t see aren’t perfectly aligned.

Not really a concern. More of an "observation". Patina is more of an "aging" thing.

I would.... If they weren't overpriced.

If they're overpriced why do Rolex sell so many watches, and why are people so keen to buy a Rolex not only at RRP but way over RRP?

Rolex is an aspirational brand, demand outstrips supply in many of the models and not many brands can say that.

Rolex overpriced? No. Over marketed, over hyped? Hell yes!

Many Rolex owners know they own a "Rolex".
Ask what movement it has or what model they have and they won't have the slightest clue.
Many buy Rolex cause Rolex is the most recognised brand in the world.
Not saying there watches aren't top quality.
Just saying people are willing to pay above retail just to be associated with them. That's marketing mastery Imo. And some may argue that Rolex makes all their parts but the truth is, they bought out all their suppliers and put them under one roof... As of recent years.
1 thing that always impressed me with them is that they have their own foundry and make their own metals wich begs the question... Shouldn't material be cheaper for them since they cut out the middle man?
Again... Just my opinion. Not cold hard facts.
And the fact that 2 weeks ago I wore my friend's 2 tone sub and was not impressed at all, further cements my "over priced" statement.

Compared to Rolex? No I don't think so.
If Rolex were overpriced no-one would buy them, yet they have waiting lists for some models. How many Omega models can you name that you couldn't just walk into a dealer and get one there and then, or within a week or so if the store doesn't have one in stock?
