Does anyone know how the "Omega" sign on the Constellations after 1955 (?) are fastened to the dial? Soldered? Glued? Pin mounted?
Originals are pin mounted. If you check dial pictures you see the way it's done by seeing the back of the dial. Fakes/redials are usually glued.
This is a redial and it looks like they bent the Omega sign? https://www.1stdibs.com/jewelry/wat...-omega-18-karat-gold-mens-watch/id-j_3745111/
I ask because I have been offered a nice redialed 18k Constellation for an attractive price. The Omega logo looks damaged. I am wondering if it can be repaired or replaced without having to do another redial.
