Tony,
This is stunning! Would you share the year and reference number for this one?

If I were betting, I'd wager that should be a 900x (x = 5 or 6 most likely) with a caliber 19AS from 1956 - 1958.

This is my only Longines. 1962 9k gold. It became my avatar photo for a reason I can't remember now.

Thank you for the wager Dennis. I'll do some research on these. I'm considering adding two Longines to my collection, something along the lines of a birth year watch for my mother (1953) who passed away several years ago and a heritage reissue birth year watch for my daughter (2013). Basically, a vintage Conquest and a new Conquest, or vintage Flagship and a new Flagship. I'm going to start gathering details on what my options are to help me decide. I'm open to suggestions of course.

I imagine I could do this with a different brand, but this thread has all but convinced me Longines is the way to go.

You'd have to go with an All Guard if you want the 1953 version of this style. Conquest didn't come about until 1955-ish because of some problem with the name. I don't know the details but maybe @Tony C., @gatorcpa or @Bill Sohne might. It's still a 900x case (9006 mostly) with the same crown and 19AS caliber inside.

What a score that was! It's one of the VERY few watches I'd want more as a 19AS specimen than my current Summit 2343.

Who has first right of refusal on that one? I know we discussed it privately.
