300 for me. Vintage inspired but not just a reissue. Plus the jumping second hand is awesome when you travel.

I think you mean jumping hour hand, a jumping second would be more a quartz watch thing!

Or a dead-beat, which amuses me. We now "dislike" one second per click but that was a goal back then!

One of these things is not like the others. When I chose the Diver 300M, I did not cross-shop the Trilogy or the 300.

If you have skinny tiny wrists, then the trilogy.

normal size to large wrists, then the 300 master co-axial.

Trilogy.

End of discussion.

Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

I owned the Trilogy and ended up keeping the SMP Diver. Lots to love about the Trilogy, but ultimately I tired of the lume colour, the shine and the wonky bezel -- not all units had these, but mine was on the loose and slippy side -- and never got on with the bracelet. The packaging and extras are terrific, however, and it wears very well. The rotor sound on mine was noticeable. There are other vintage divers I ended up preferring -- Blancpain and Doxa -- and I still prefer them. If I'd found a Trilogy Railmaster, I'd have kept it forever. It's a true stunner.

The MC isn't a great fit for me, so didn't consider it for long.

The Diver 300 is just a great all-rounder. It's beautifully made, wears like a dream on the rubber especially, is accurate and legible and is both a tool watch and a dress watch, depending on context. And since you have the trilogy Speedy, it's a nice match.

Ultimately though, they're in different categories for me. I can see the Trilogy facing off with the MC, but the Diver is a true GADA watch. Might make a nice complement to the Trilogy Speedy also. No wrong answer here.

That's some interesting considerations, thanks a lot to everyone

Having owned all three I ended up with the Trilogy. IMO it depends on what you value most in a watch to be honest.
I think the SM300 really is a fantastic watch, the modern bezel with liquid metal ceramic is stunning, the silver painted numerals are beautiful and the dial with the laser cut indices is nicely done. For me the fit (end links), bracelet of 21 mm lug width and the larger size of 41 mm just made it a bit uncomfortable and I grow tired of that.

The new 300M is really nice and frankly the most bang for your buck but I didn’t bond with it as much as I had hoped for, it lacks a bit of character IMO and I still think the 2220.80 looks better 😀

I ended up with the Trilogy due to its amazing size and updated end links (39 mm is just perfect for everyday wear), the thin countdown aluminum bezel as per the original and the facts that it truly honers the original vintage CK2913 in every detail but still can be worn every day from beach to boardroom.

Trilogy if I could afford it. I really enjoy a countdown bezel!

One of the major factors in selling my Railmaster LE, the lume is weak because of its color. I wish it would have been all C1....

Trilogy for sure.

For what it is worth, I sold mine 300MC to get the trilogy

I've had the 300MC for several years and I love it. Until I bought a Speedmaster last year, the 300 spent more time on the wrist than any of my other watches, including my Diver 300M. But I aspire to the Trilogy.

Agreed... thanks

I liked the Trilogy box set until I saw the numbers on the dial! Now I would rather buy the set separately to have no numbers which detract from the dial

Trilogy or the pre-2018 version of the SMPc. The new SMPc just doesn’t do it for me.

Yes, I find them horrendous too... they really take away something to the esthetic of the dial...
